Intro to this $2000 e truck from China
Every once in a while you will stumble across something that just causes a bit of pause… and for us it was the title of this youtube video “Unboxing & Testing My Chinese “$2,000″ ELECTRIC Truck!”
How can you say no to that? Of course we couldn’t and we actually found ourselves falling down the rabbit hole quicker and quicker by the second. Sometimes it is the rabbit hole of why albania loves mercedes… but today…
Today it is about a brand new electric truck that costs $2,000
So what is going on?
That is the first thing that I thought as soon as I opened the video and thankfully, the creator of the video actually does a recap. We happened to miss the first bit, which he actually goes over how he found the truck, the ordering and shipping process, and other steps. To be honest we weren’t too upset to have missed that part.
So the video starts with a big truck in … shoddy looking wrapping to say the least. But looks can be deceiving … sometimes…. right?
In all honesty the shipping packaging wasn’t terrible and we were impressed it survivied.

A new Chinese EV truck is making waves in the automotive world. The $2,000 vehicle has a range of 200 miles and can charge in just 30 minutes. Some are calling it a game-changer for the EV industry. And to be honest by the end of the video we weren’t doubting that it could one day be a huge, and positive impact, on the world.

We watched the whole video, and were really impressed. It was well put together, good segmentation, and clear information.
While we did watch the whole video there was one part that we just laughed about and couldn’t get. The amazing truck comes with a pop up roof … scoop?

This was something that we really wanted to know, as it’s one thing to say the truck is $2,000 in China… but what about the cost of getting it here and that is where the surge comes in.
In the video the reviewer says that all in they were closer to $8,000 USD to get the car running in their back yard.
And they said that even at that price they are still thinking it was a good value.
The verdict: Whether or not the truck is worth its price tag.
The electric vehicle (EV) market is rapidly growing and evolving. With more and more options available, it can be hard to decide which one is right for you. One option that has recently been getting a lot of attention is the $2,000 EV truck from China. Overall the truck is great to do running around a bigger property. It is a good replacement for a Gator or golf cart for sure.
Some people are very impressed with the truck. They say that it’s well-built and sturdy, and that it’s a great value for the price. They’re especially happy with how much range it has; one reviewer said that he was able to get nearly 80 miles on a single charge.
Others, however, are not so thrilled. Some say that the build quality isn’t as good as they were expecting, and that the range isn’t as good as advertised. But really, for the price that you are looking at, you would be hard pressed to find ANY truck that comes in around $2,000… let alone an electric one WITH AC!
