The only downside is that the car is a bit pricey when compared to other Hondas, but when compared to other cars in its class it is actually a great value. Find out everything you will need to know about the 2021 honda accord sport 2.0 t in our review. You know that we love Accords around here so take it with a bit of salt as there might be a bit of bias… or maybe it is just an amazing car and we are right on the month.
While it is a bit early for Honda Accord Accessories to be out in full force, there is the list of traditional mods you can do to make it look a bit nicer than the OEM look it comes with. Not saying it is a bad looking car, but a couple of mods can make a huge difference.
Overview of the 2021 Honda Accord Sport 2.0 T
The 2021 Honda Accord Sport 2.0 T is a great car for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable option. It has a comfortable ride and plenty of features to keep you entertained on long drives. The only downside is that it doesn’t have the same level of performance as some of the other cars in its class. But if you are just looking for something fun, practical and a bit of fun with boost then this might be perfect for you. In all honesty, we took one out and had a great time, but there was just something missing. Perhaps it was the smaller engine size, when compared to our V6 Touring accord, or maybe it was just the dimensions. But it did leave us with a bit of wanting… for what, we aren’t too sure.

Is the Accord 1.5 Fast enough?
This really comes down to what you are comparing it to, and with the turbo it can feel quick but it is till a heavier and bigger car. It is a bit early to really say the accord is a great platform to do a full blown build off of, but if you are thinking that you might go down that route we would suggest starting with the bigger engine from the get go.
Interior design and features of the 2021 honda accord sport 2.0 t
The 2021 Honda Accord Sport 2.0 T is a great car for anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable ride. The interior is well designed and the features are top notch. The seats are comfortable and the infotainment system is easy to use. The one thing to keep in mind is that it is still going to be a Honda. So if you are expecting the back massaging chairs that Mercedez offers, or other crazy finishes you will be disappointed. We aren’t saying the interior wasn’t great, but it is great for a Honda.
For us, it is more than enough and compared to others in the price range we would say it is one of the nicest, if not the nicest, finishes around. It didn’t suffer from that shiny black plastic pretending to be fancy that many car companies have fallen in love with. And the seats felt like they were good enough quality that we didn’t need to be extra gently with them… yes looking at you Tesla with your vegan leather plastic sheets. We love going to the Honda Accord site to build your own, as it really lays out all the options for you to look at , or play around with.
Engine and performance of the 2021 honda accord sport 2.0 t
The all-new 2021 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T is a well-rounded and impressive sedan. It’s one of the best in its class, thanks to its refined engine and performance.
The Accord Sport 2.0T is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. It’s paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The engine is surprisingly refined and delivers strong acceleration. The transmission is smooth and shifts quickly. The 10 speed transmission makes shifting very smooth, and allows for quick gear changes without a huge push when going up or down in the gears. The nice thing is that when you are driving it is totally fine at around 2,000 RPM but also will come to life when you floor it.
What does sport mode do 2021 honda accord
You can also shift if into Sport mode which will reduce the transmission gearing down a couple of gears and increasing the throttle response. It is a noticeable difference, but won’t make you think you’re in a Lambo by any stretch of the imagination.
The car handles very well with a great balance between sporty feel and ride comfort. It’s composed around corners and soaks up bumps nicely. The steering is precise and the brakes are strong. Overall, the Accord Sport 2.0T is a great choice if you are looking to add a bit of spice ( when you want to ) in your daily driving activities.
Lack of Manual Transmission for the 2021 Accord
This is the one spot that really hurt, and that is that they stopped putting manuals out as an option in 2020. We get it that this is a daily driver for hauling things, or people, around. But choice is always appreciated and it would’ve been great to have that option.
Safety and driver-assistance features of the 2021 Honda accord sport 2.0 t
As cars continue to get more and more technologically advanced, it’s important to know which features are available to help you stay safe on the road. The 2021 Honda Accord Sport 2.0 T comes standard with a variety of safety and driver-assistance features that will give you peace of mind while you’re behind the wheel.
Some of the notable safety features include Honda Sensing, which is a suite of driver-assistance technologies that can help avoid or mitigate collisions. There’s also a Blind Spot Information System that uses sensors to detect when there’s a car in your blind spot and will alert you with a visual warning on the corresponding mirror.
If you’re looking for a safe and reliable car, the 2021 Honda Accord Sport 2.0 T should definitely be at the top of your list.
Pricing and trims for the the 2021 honda accord sport 2.0 t
After a year off, the Honda Accord is back and better than ever. The all-new 2021 Accord is available in four different trim levels: LX, Sport, EX, and Touring. The LX is the base model and comes standard with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 192 horsepower. The Sport trim level adds a bit more power to the engine, increasing output to 252 horsepower. Along with the increase in power, the Sport trim also features a sport-tuned suspension and larger wheels and tires. The EX trim level adds even more luxury features to the Accord, while the Touring trim level is the range-topping model that comes loaded with everything Honda has to offer.
Is it better than the 2020 accord?
This is the question that everyone wants to know, and it is a bit of a hard answer to give right now knowing how the market is. In the past we would say that the refresh was so little that if you can get a good price on an older one you should go for it. But with the wait lines because of Covid etc. we are pretty sure you will be paying at least MSRP, so Yes if you can get it and save some money… but No because it probably won’t happen.
Should you get the CVT or 10 Speed Transmission for the 2021 Accord 2.0 t?
When it comes to choosing between a CVT and 10 speed transmission for the 2021 Accord 2.0 t, there are a few things to consider. First, think about your driving habits. If you do a lot of stop-and-go city driving, the CVT may be the better option for you. But if you do mostly highway driving, the 10 speed transmission may be a better choice.
Another thing to keep in mind is how you want your Accord to perform. If you’re looking for optimal performance, the 10 speed transmission is the way to go. However, if you’re looking for better fuel economy, the CVT may be a better option.
Finally, think about your budget. The CVT is going to be on the smaller engine and cheaper car so if your focus is on budget you won’t really have a choice and CVT will be what you get. For us, we just don’t like the feel of the Honda CVT so we always suggest that if you can afford it, go with another option.
Price Difference for the new Accord vs the 2020 version
The price has gone up, on MSRP levels, and most likely even higher by the time you get it with all the fun added fees dealerships are putting in there. If you compare MSRP year to year you are looking at between $500-$2000 more for this years versions.

Conclusion
The new 2021 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T is a great car. It’s got everything you could want in a car, and then some. But does it live up to the hype?
We put the Accord Sport 2.0T through its paces, and it performed admirably. The engine is powerful and efficient, the handling is tight and precise, and the overall ride is comfortable and composed. We were also impressed with the infotainment system, which is one of the best we’ve used.
So yes, the new Honda Accord Sport 2.0T is a great car. If you’re in the market for a new car, this should definitely be on your shortlist.
