Volkswagen Taigun Concept

Volkswagen Taigun Concept has been issued as the car from Volkswagen which has been prepared to fight with the Nissan Juke. This Volkswagen Taigun Concept takes the platform of the New Small Family that has been taken by Volkwagen up!

This Volkswagen Taigun is only 3,86 in length and 1,73 in width. VW has claimed that the interior on this Taigun is wider thanks to the 2,47 wheelbase. Meanwhile, the baggage volume is 280 liter, but if you fold the rear seat, you will get an extra 987 liter. The interior comes in futuristic style with blue, white and yellow lines as the color domination. Meanwhile, its glass roof adds an extra wide view. As VW’s explanation, the front is 1,036 mm and the rear is 980 mm.

You will also get the system infotainment on this small SUV. With this system, you will be able to connect your smartphone to your car. In the middle of the dashboard, the auxiliary instrument gauges are added such as the oil suspension, cooling system and the turbo suspension.

The overhang is low (front: 708 mm and rear: 681 mm). Meanwhile, the track of the front and rear is 1473 mm so that the body looks proportional. Coincidentally, the design of this Taigun is the same as its brother, VW Tiguan and Touareg. It also comes with rail roof with LED and the protection under its engine. In addition, the 17” wheels are covered with the 205/50 R17 tires.

Taigun takes the advantages from the fuel engine 1,0 liter 3-cilinder turbo with the power on 110 hp at 5000 rpm and the peak torque at 175 Nm. It has been complemented with the 6-speed manual transmission. This engine type EA211 is offering us the fuel consumption at 21,28 km/liter.
