Junior Baca, 25years old from New Mexico, an avid car enthusiast has shared his builds with us. Baca is among those who love Hondas and it’s this relationship with the Japanese car maker that made him get a second Acura RSX. His first experience with the Acura hasn’t been actually a happy one in fact, it was rather a terrible few minutes when his pride and joy went up in flames right before his own eyes.
The fire episode did not stop Junior Baca to get one of them Acuras yet again from the same dealership. So, finally he got a brand new RSX which he initially planned to use it for his daily commutes. However, keeping it in stock condition was probably never on his mind and so began a flurry of modifications and hard work. He started off with the most common mods including the intake, header and exhaust.
Initially, Baca was happy with the stock punch of the K20 motor and the resonating sound from the modified exhaust. But later on, he himself pieced together a decent turbocharger kit and with some help from his father and one of his mates. Baca took the car to Eric Dotson of SQC Tuning where the Acura RSX topped out at a massive 525 whp and 360 torques @ a boost pressure of 16 psi.
