renault dacia duster 501x350 Renault Released Their Dacia Duster No Limit

Renault released their special Dacia Duster with which they will compete in the 2011 Pikes Peak Hill Climb. They called the No Limit, this Dacia Duster racer underwent some very serious modifications. In fact, will be surprised if any of the parts of the factory Duster found their way into the No Limit. Dacia’s Duster No Limit is powered by a 3.8 liter V6 engine taken from a Nissan GT-R, which is tuned to output 850hp. Very special care was taken to ensure that this engine will perform at its best even at high altitudes. The Pikes Peak Hill Climb runs from an altitude of 2,860 meters to 4,300 meters.

The engine of the Pikes Peak Duster is mated to a six-speed Sadev sequential transmission, which was especially developed for this race car. Dacia’s Pikes Peak Duster comes with some really mad aerodynamics. Even though they look a bit extreme, Renault ensures us that the body kit was developed in the wind tunnel and the car actually needs such a big rear wing.

Unfortunately, Dacia did not release any additional specifications regarding the Duster No Limit. So for now enjoy the photos of the Pikes Peak Duster in the gallery below and don’t forget to leave comment! icon smile Renault Released Their Dacia Duster No Limit .
