Peugeot 2008 Crossover

A contestant has arrived, which will be called as the Peugeot 2008 Crossover. This car will make its international debut at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show in March. The French marque calls it as the “urban crossover”. This car will battle against some vehicles like the nice Nissan Juke, the great Opel/Vauxhall Mokka, the great Chevroler  Traxx and the nice Mini Countryman. Meanwhile, Mazime Picat, the company’s general director said that the company will secure Peugeot’s leadership in the segment and also will win new customers in Latin America and Asia.

It will come in 4.16 m in its length, so that this 2008 is around 200mm longer than the previous 208 supermini and also 20mm longer than the concept car that was revealed at the recent 2012 Paris Auto Show. Besides that, it contains a version of Peugeot’s signature “floating grille”, the newly-designed headlights, the black bumpers and side sills with silver-painted accents, a great panoramic sunroof and also 17-inch “Diamond” wheels in the matt finish long with Mud & Snow Tires. Meanwhile, the curved rear end of the roofline is stirred by the “double-bubble” roof on the RCZ coupe.

Peugeot has said that this car will be motorized by the new 3-cylinder gasoline and also the e-HDi diesel engines along with its CO2 emissions beginning from 99 g/km. Unfortunately, the pricing tag of this car hasn’t revealed yet. Just check out the gallery below and get the details.
