Currently, Nissan has revealed its new product at Detroit 2013. This is the right time for the Nissan Resonance Concept which previews the third-generation Murano crossover.
This Resonance was developed by Nissan Design America in San Diego under the direction of Shiro Nakamura, the senior vice president and chief creative officer of Nissan.
Francois Bancon, the division GM, product strategy and planning, has said that when the designers were first working on the Resonance, the designers were motivated by the scientific advancements in technology and the material innovations. They were also inspired by the aspirations of some people who hold close the innovation. This Resonance is destined to be energetic, provocative, engaging and even polarizing.
This car will come and hit the marketplace along with its design features such as the front grille and the “boomerang” headlights. Those parts will also present on the next-gen Qashqai that like the new Murano, next year. Meanwhile, the design concept is offered the AWD and also the Nissan’s proprietary “one-motor, two-clutch” system which mixes a smaller displacement internal combustion petrol engine together with an electric motor/lithium-ion battery and the enhanced management system.
In the vicinity, such a system can also be found in the previous Infiniti M35h hybrid, said as a “driver’s hybrid” which puts its performance first. The Resonance will also contain the Nissan’s next-gen Xtronic CVT gearbox. For a further information, check out our gallery below.
