Recently, Lexus LF-LC blue concept has been revealed. And it will be shown at the ongoing 2012 Australian International Motor Show in Sydney. Before come to the Australian International Motor Show, it has been debuted firstly at this year’s Detroit Auto Show. From now on, it comes with some upgrades. The upgraded version of the Lexus LF-LC Blue Concept comes in Opal Blue color which is inspired by the semi-precious stone of outback Australia.
A lightweight carbon fiber is added instead of the next-generation of Lexus’ hybrid powertrain. Developed from the LFA supercar, the LF-LC leverages Lexus’ extensive in-house experience in combining carbon fiber and aluminum alloy materials to attain a light body mass. As a result, we can get an enormously taut body that responds fast and crisply to driver inputs.
In addition, the next-gen hybrid system, the Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive has been presented here. This system actually will bring an Atkinson cycle combustion engine that has been fitted to an “advanced high-energy battery pack” prepared to bring the bigger power from a smaller battery than those recently used by Lexus.
Inside of this Lexus LF-LC Blue Concept, you will get the spectacular cabin. Since there are some upgrades, including in the interior, this cabin now comes with a new white and brown color scheme. Lexus said that the LF-LC Blue concept becomes a clue about what is the next that will really come to us and come to the market place. More importantly, they are aggressively learning the ways to engineer and build a vehicle like this in the future. It seems to be a clever ways to make improvements.
