Some recent news has come from the new 2017 Porsche 960 supercar for the report that the “FeFi” or the Ferrari-Fighter will include a boxer eight engine. This recent news is justified by the need to struggle with the heavy V12 of the new F12 Berlinetta.

The great mid-mounted quad-turbocharged powerhouse then will be fitted to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and also an all-wheel-drive system. Meanwhile, Porsche is planning for a 0-60 mph sprint time in just 2.5 seconds. The enhancement of this relly new engine has supposedly already been approved by the VW Group chief Ferdinand Piech who is really not new to this set up since he drove once a boxer eight one off Porsche 914 and also a flat eight Cayman.

In addition, the 3.9 liter engine is supposed to distribute 650 hp and Porsche is also supposing to sell about 3000-4000 of these cars in a period of 6 years when the production begins in 2017. Just check out the gallery below for more details.
