Current news has reported that Hyundai unveiled its latest car, which is named as the Hyundai Centennial or the Equus luxury sedan that will make its United States debut in the facelifted form at the New York Auto Show this month. Unfortunately, we don’t have any specific details of this car for the North American model, but we guess that it will take the advantages from the similar design and technological upgrades as the already obtainable Korean version – that is also named Equus (the centennial moniker that is used in the Middle East).
In the styling department, the Korean rear-wheel drive sedan receives a modified front grille and also less chrome. Meanwhile, inside, you’ll find the new trim pieces, the different buttons and also switches in addition to a latest shifter, which is reminiscent of that located on BMWs).
Encouraged by the other big and luxury cars, Hyundai now also rid the Equus of its analog gauge, changing it with an LCD unit. In addition, many posh cars now contain the same setup, and since the new Equus is more than an image-booster for the company, they are devoted to fit all of the new and most eye-catching pieces of technology on their cars.
Besides that, the other new features contain a modified adaptive cruise control, a Head-Up Display or HUD, all-round view cameras, the selectable driving modes in addition to the Blind Spot Detection.
