Recent news has come from John Hennessey for the report that Hennessey has unveiled the restricted information of the altered model of the 2013 Hennessey Venom GT supercar. The CEO and the owner of Hennessey Performance have published that the new Venom GT will keep on bringing the greatest power to weight ratio in the hypercar market. John Hennessey also unveiled their recently-build tenth Venom GT.
In this time, the 2012 model has been powered by a twin turbocharged Chevrolet LS-series aluminum V8 which be able to produce 1,200hp and 1,135lb-ft torque fitted to a six-speed Ricardo manual transaxle. In addition, the Venom is competent of running 100km/h in just 2.2 seconds along with the top speed at 262mph. Meanwhile, its braking system has been complemented by four-piston rear, six-piston front and carbon ceramic brakes from Brembo.
There are also some alterations contain a new door design along with dihedral hinges and an improved headroom with double bubble roof. Meanwhile, the engine has been upgraded with the 7.0 liter twin turbo V8 to produce over 1,500hp. In addition, the power source is connected to a new seven-speed paddle shift transmission or to the six-speed Ricardo manual transaxle. The power to weight ratio is now higher than one bhp per kilogram of curb weight. But, the information about the improved performance features has not been unveiled.
Move on the carbon fiber body, it is windtunnel tested and will stay at the same for now.
