The Canadian car industry’s™ new guidelines dictate that a car in a commercial has to obey rules of the road. But since the 2011 Subaru WRX STI would not impressed unless the vehicle lived up to its reputation, Subaru Canada looked to the world of animation. Like a flip-book, the animation in the new TV spot is entirely powered by the vehicle itself. The entire spot frame was illustrated frame by frame, in graphic detail, to highlight the raw performance of the new Subaru WRX.
