Nissan break its old lap record with ther new 2012 GT-R at the Northern Loop of Nurburgring finishing the lap 2.48 seconds faster. The Power for the new 2012 Nissan GT-R comes from a VR38DETT 3.8L twin turbo V6 making 530-hp and 488 lb-ft of torque. This allows the car to sprints from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds.
The prices for the 2012 Nissan GT-R start at $89,950 for the base model and $95,100 for the Premium and Black Edition.
Here’s a released 12mins video showing the whole event where the 2012 Nissan GT-R finished the lap in just 7:24.22. That was 2.48 seconds faster than its old record and much faster than its competitors including Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Ferrari Enzo, Pagani Zonda F and the Maserati MC12.
