You probably wondered why they called the Honda CR-Z to a KR-Z? Well most of the owners of the CR-Z and future Honda hybrid buyers will notice the cars lack of power while driving. No wonder why? this should be expected from a small 2.0 LT four cylinder with additional electric power, however the LHT Performance based in Florida decided to try something different and bring this Honda CR-Z to the next level.

So they took the Honda K20 VTEC series engine, that can normally found in the s2000 sports car, and were able to make a perfect fit in the Honda CR-Z. Previously the LHT Performance pulled a similar tuning job with the Honda Insight to give it more power. They also like to say that everything on this swap still works 100%, which is pretty hard to accomplish these days with the sophisticated electronics controlling systems. Here’s a video of them test driving the newly swaped Honda KR-Z and showing you how it perform..
