The New Chrysler 300C sedan has been presented to general public in the middle of January on a Motor Show in Detroit. The car is constructed on the modernized platform of the predecessor which in turn is a modified variant of the chassis of Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

The novelty will be offered with the six-cylinder 3,6-litre engine of Pentastar series developing 292HP, and also with 360-strong eight-cylinder unit in volume of 5,7 litres. Thus, the last combination with a six-step automatic transmission allows the car to be accelerated to 100 km/h less than for 6 seconds.

In the USA the prices for new Chrysler 300C will begin from $28,000US. The car basic set it’s: seven airbags, stabilization system, multimedia Uconnect system with 8,4-inch touch-screen, cruise-control with GPS-navigator, and also system of access to the car without a key.

In Europe 300C will be on sale under Lancia Thema brand name. Unlike the US variant in scale of engines of a novelty add 230-strong 6-cylinder diesel engine in volume of 3-litres. Besides, the sedan will have other options of a steering.

It’s expected that the premiere of European Chrysler 300C will takes place in March on Geneva Auto Salon, but car sales begin only to 2nd half of year.
